Trade Policy

Thank you for your interest in our trade-in program! At this time we are mostly accepting Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior, Bottega and Celine.

Here’s how it works:


Step 1: Request a quote - bagstoriches.shop@gmail.com

Email us clear photos of your bag (front, back, corners, interior, serial tag), Please write a description of the brand, model, and condition and specify any wear, odors, issues, repairs, and any accessories (box, dust bag, serial card, etc)


Step 2: Get an offer
~2-3 Business days
We’ll review your submission and send a trade-in quote based on the fair market value of your bag.
  • Quote value is based on current resale market prices, recent sales data, and the condition and demand for your specific model.
  • In most cases, trade-in offers range from 40–70% of the expected resale value, or roughly 20–40% of the original retail price, depending on popularity and condition.
* Offers are valid for 5 days after they are sent to you. Your payout estimate is subject to adjustment during the in-person assessment if your bag does not match your photos or description.


Step 3: Ship your bag
~2-3 Business days
If you accept, we’ll email a prepaid shipping label. Please pack your item securely and include any accessories (dust bag, strap, authenticity card).


Step 4: Final evaluation

Once received, our team inspects o confirm the condition of your item and orders a 3rd party authentication certificate.
* If we find any discrepancies between the actual condition of your bag and what was described in the photos and description, we will provide you with an adjusted offer. 


Step 5: Get Store Credit
If everything checks out, you will receive a store credit code via email within 3 business days of receipt. Store credit does not expire and applies to the list price.

Authenticity Requirement: All bags must be 100% authentic. If we find the item is not authenticate, we will share the 3rd party certificate results with you and a $50 processing fee will be applied in order to ship your item back. If the processing fee is not received within 3 business days, we reserve the right to destroy the item or, in certain cases, transfer it to law enforcement. The processing fee covers shipping to and from and authentication services and helps prevent misuse of our trade in process and to ensure smooth handling for genuine submissions.
